Well... apologies for the late nature of my Sunday Six.  Originally it was slated to be a quip from Immortal Protector, but the release date has been pushed back, and I'm not ready to share that yet.

So... here's a quick peek at one of my favorite exchanges from my current work in progress:

~~~~~~
A nagging feeling pulled at Julian’s gut, and cautiously, so as not to offend her, he asked, “With due respect, Miss Grayson, you can dance, can you not?”
            The soft chuckle she’d expelled turned into a hearty, melodious sound.  She quickly gained control of it, but her eyes remained twinkling.  “I’m afraid not.  The last steps I took were upon my father’s toes, when I was twelve.”
"Victorians used the term 'limbs' as a euphenism for legs, which were thought to be so sexually exciting to a man, even a glimpse of a table leg could incite him to sexual frenzy. Table skirts were invented to prevent any unnatural unions between men and furniture."
