Things are moving right along in the world of publishing. Chuckle. I spent the last day or so doing all the "things you need to do as a new author at The Wild Rose Press". I also finished what I am calling Round 1 of edits -- way ahead of schedule.

Tonight, I'm hitting the grindstone and overcoming a plot point in my fantasy book that I've been putting off. I need to get that hurdle put behind me so I can get into my more favorite portions of the story.

I also have a driving urge to delve into a new plotline and cannot do that until I finish Book4.

Well, everyone, not only have I shifted over from Livejournal to here, but...

I've sold my first book! The Wild Rose Press has accepted what is presently known as "Trifecta" for publication. It's a pretty steamy read about two rival, cream of the crop, racehorse owners who enter a rather... risque... wager over a colt. What begins as sporting fun, however, quickly unravels into a passionate love affair as the lovers chase after the Triple Crown.

I'm super excited about this opportunity! So much so, that I've plotted out a second book revolving around horses that I intend to also submit. It's so very fun to be able to put both of my loves together that I dn't think I'm ready to move on to a different subject matter yet.

Anyway, publishing date and all that good stuff is still pending. Will keep you all notified of the progress as it occurs.
